This juvenile bald eagle had gotten its share of salmon and taken it to this rock out in the channel in Sitka, Alaska. Just after I snapped this shot, another juvenile flew out to the rock trying to rest the salmon away from him. They fought and ended up dropping the salmon into the water! I did see this happen several times; they fight over food only to drop it in the water and lose it altogether.
