Grizzly Island is in the Suisun Marsh which is the largest contiguous
brackish marsh in the continental United States. California's largest
population of river otters swim in the sloughs; one can see more than
230 bird species as well as tule elk, a species native only to California.
Seventy-five miles of levee trails are open from February through
July.
