I had specifically not wanted to travel to Haines during the Bald Eagle festival. Besides being too many people in the area to properly enjoy the eagles, I figured they'd have all kinds of eagle trinkets, like eagle belts, eagle earrings, eagle burgers and the ever popular eagle on a stick. This was as close as I wanted to come to anything approaching "eagle on a stick"... so, this is my eagle on a stick--the real thing!
