Poison Oak

Copyright Barbara Samuelson 1997

Poison Oak (Toxicodendron diversilobum), the bane of all hikers and a very common plant found at Pt. Reyes, California. No matter whether the leaves are the recognizeable red or not, the entirety of the plant is "poisonous" during the entire year. Travel near this plant with great caution!
