Orange Sulphur

Copyright Barbara Samuelson 1998

The Orange Sulphur (Colias eurytheme Boisduval) are abundant in the Central valley of California during the late harvest season. Normally they are yellow (thus the name), but one can also find the albino (the greenish one on the left) amongst the others.
